Steve has over 20 years experience filming on a huge variety of formats from Super 16,Digi Beta, HD DVCPRO, XDCAM, HDCAM, DVCAM to super 8. Having spent most of the 90's travelling he has filmed Tigers in Siberia, wilder beast migrating over the Masi Mara and Canada geese in Regents Park. Places include, Jamaica, The U.S.A.(holds a current I Visa) Canada, Africa, most of Europe, South America, India and Australia. Having been in at the very start of 3 companies of merit: MTV , SKY and Carlton, before turning freelance in 1993. Working through various facility companies (Cruet co, Hammerhead and Picture Canning) he met a huge variety of Directors and Producers and is still working for a large proportion of those people today. Lighting is an aspect of his work , which results in a lot of his return work, and word of mouth. He is equally happy handheld, on the dolly or on the end of a long lens. He recognises that speed is very important, but it still has to look as if we had lots of time to create the shots. In short he allows the lens and the framing to make the shot look great at short notice.
